An artist since childhood, I never had to ponder the question "what do I want to be when I grow up?" After graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1993 I moved to Cleveland, Ohio to start my career. I worked for 7 years as an Art Director for GR&A Advertising until I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2002 and took the opportunity to begin my freelance venture.
Currently, I run an independent graphic design and illustration studio in Belmont, North Carolina (just outside of Charlotte) and am enjoying great success. It has been a wonderful opportunity to transition to more illustration along with my graphic and web design projects.
Sadly my Dharma dog is no longer with me, but my rescue hound Franklin (seen with me here) is always at my feet and continues to help influence my Basset Hound creations.
Dharma: one's Life Purpose or 'calling'. What we are destined to give back to the world.
What is 'Good Dharma'? Well... to me, Dharma was my beloved Basset Hound. She was my first 'baby' and was with me for almost 15 years until she passed in June of 2013.
The REAL meaning of Dharma is: one's Life Purpose or 'calling'. It is what we are destined to give back to the world. And so it is, I am here to offer a little joy with my illustration and bring my client's visions to life. Namaste
